How to Program Logitech Harmony Remote for Sonos

This guide will help you determine if the hardware you have will support each other, and how to add the Sonos skill to your Logitech Harmony remote, so you can control it.

You can add your Sonos speakers to your Harmony remote using the Harmony app on your smartphone or tablet, or using the MyHarmony program on your computer.

  1. Open the Harmony app, and select the Menu.

  2. Select Harmony Setup.
  3. Select Add/Edit Devices & Activities.
  4. Select Devices.
  5. Select Add Device.
  6. Select Scan for Wi-Fi Devices.
  7. Follow the instructions on screen to finish adding your Sonos speaker system to your Harmony remote.

  1. Connect your Harmony remote to your computer using the included USB cable.
  2. Open MyHarmony, and select Devices on the left.

  4. Follow the instructions on screen to finish adding your Sonos speaker system to your Harmony remote.
  1. On your mobile device, open the Harmony Express app, and select Edit Setup.

  2. Select + to perform a scan.

  3. Follow the instructions on screen to finish adding your Sonos speaker system to your Harmony Express remote.
  1. Connect your Harmony remote to your computer using the included USB cable.
  2. Open MyHarmony, and select Devices on the left.

  4. Select Amplifier.
  5. Select Sonos.
  6. Enter Playbar, Playbase, or Beam as the model name, depending on which Sonos speaker you have.
  7. Save your changes.
