Learn how to troubleshoot and repair sudden audio loss on one side of your Beats Studio3 wireless headphones.
Before You Begin:

1 Check Your Beats Studio3 Cabling

If restarting your headset didn't take care of the issue we need to look at the RemoteTalk cable and connections now.

  1. Make sure the connections are firmly plugged in and not damaged or corroded.
  2. Make sure the buttons on the cable are not stuck, damaged, or blocked.
  3. If there is damage to the cable or buttons you'll need to purchase a new RemoteTalk cable.

2 Make Sure You Have the Right Audio Source

Next we will check your audio sources on your computer.
Windows
  1. Click on the speaker icon in the notification area.

  2. The current playback device is now displayed. Click the current playback device.
    Playback device
  3. Select the playback device you would like to use.
macOS
  1. Click on the speaker icon and click on Sound Preferences.

  2. Click on the Input tab and then select the device you wish to be your default recording device.
