To attempt to resolve Bluetooth issues, we'll start by removing the speaker from the device it was previously paired with.
  1. Swipe down on your screen to access the menu.
  2. Hold down on the Bluetooth icon to bring up Bluetooth options.

  3. Slide Bluetooth ON if it isn't already.

  4. Tap the gear icon next to the device you wish to unpair.

  5. Tap Unpair.

  6. The Bluetooth device has now been unpaired and can be re-added if you wish.

To place your soundbar into pairing mode:

  1. From a powered down state, press and hold the Power/Input button.

  2. Your soundbar will power on. Its default mode is Bluetooth and will automatically be available for pairing at this time.

    This device will display as SOUND BAR 01 on your mobile device when attempting to pair it.

Depending on what device (Smartphone or Tablet) and which generation you have, the menu theme and options might look slightly different on your screen. However, the steps should be similar to all Android devices and generations.

From any Android Device

  1. Open the App Drawer.

    Newer versions of Android's operating system may not have the app drawer button. If you do not see the button, you will simply swipe up from the bottom of your screen to get to your apps.

  2. Go to Settings.
    Android Settings.
  3. Tap Bluetooth. You may need to select Connections first.

  4. Set the Bluetooth accessory in pairing/discovery mode.

    This process will vary depending on what kind of device you have. Refer to your device's documentation for specifics on how to accomplish this.

  5. Ensure Bluetooth is On and then select your device from the list below.

    Some Bluetooth accessories are configured with a PIN or a passkey that is often listed in its manual. Check your Bluetooth accessory manual for the correct PIN or passkey.

  1. Navigate to Settings.

  2. Tap Bluetooth. Note: Bluetooth must be switched on for a list of devices to display.

  3. Tap the "i" icon to the right of the device name.

  4. Tap Forget this Device.

  5. Tap Forget this Device in the dialogue box. Your device is no longer recognized by your phone or tablet.

To place your soundbar into pairing mode:

From any iOS Device

  1. Open Settings.

  3. Set the Bluetooth accessory in pairing/discovery mode.

    This process will vary depending on what kind of device you have. Refer to your device's documentation for specifics on how to accomplish this.

  4. Ensure Bluetooth is On then select your device from the list below.

  1. Click the Start button.

  3. Then click on Devices.

  4. Select Bluetooth & other devices from the left-hand column.

  5. Click the device you want to forget and click on Remove Device.

  6. Click Yes to confirm removal of your device.

To place your soundbar into pairing mode:

  2. Your soundbar will power on. Its default mode is Bluetooth and will automatically be available for pairing at this time.

Some Bluetooth devices are configured to require a PIN or a passkey. If this is the case, check your Bluetooth device's documentation for the correct default PIN or passkey.

  1. Set the Bluetooth accessory in pairing/discovery mode.

  2. Click the Start button.

  5. Select Bluetooth & other devices from the left-hand column and ensure the Bluetooth switch is in the On position to the right.

  6. Click Add Bluetooth or other device.

  7. Select Bluetooth from the list.

  8. Select the device you want to pair the system with.

  9. If asked to enter or verify the passcode showing on the other device, do so.

  10. Click on Done.

  11. After the pairing was successful the device will show the Paired status under its name.

  1. Click on the speaker icon in the notification area.

  2. The current playback device is now displayed. Click the current playback device.

  3. Select the playback device you would like to use.
  1. Open the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.

  3. Click the X next to the device you wish to forget.

  4. Click Remove to confirm.

  1. Set your device to pairing mode. The way you do this may differ from device to device.

    In many cases, you can place your device in pairing mode by having the device off, then pressing and holding the power button to start it up. Usually, after a few moments, it will indicate it is in pairing mode (flashing its indicator light, for example), and you can release the power button.

  2. On the menu bar, click the Apple menu, then System Preferences.

  3. Select Bluetooth.

  4. Ensure that it says Bluetooth: On. Turn it on with the button if it isn't.

  5. Your computer will search for any Bluetooth devices in range.
  6. Once your device is located, click Pair.

  7. Once the pairing process is complete, your Mac will automatically connect to the device whenever it is in range.
  1. Click on the speaker icon and click on Sound Preferences.

  2. Click on the Input tab and then select the device you wish to be your default recording device.

To troubleshoot your remote control:

  • Make sure you have fresh batteries in your remote.
  • Infrared style remotes rely on line-of-sight. Make sure the remote is pointed directly at what you're trying to control, that there nothing blocking the remote's view of the device, and that there is no glass that could be reflecting the IR beam.
  • Try moving closer to the device with your remote and try again.
  • Make sure the power is securely plugged in to both the speaker and the outlet and that the device is powered on. Press & Hold the Power/Input button to power the device on/off.

  • Ensure that all audio cables are plugged in securely and power the soundbar back on. Then, short-press the Power/Input button to make sure the soundbar is set to the correct input.

  • Make sure the soundbar is not muted, and the volume is turned up loudly enough to be heard.
