Introduction

The new DLC is out and you can't wait to play it. The DLC downloads but as you go to open up the game the DLC doesn't show up. It's no where to be found. You can't play it.

This guide will help you resolve issues with your new DLC not showing up correctly on your Switch.

To start, let's make sure you have enough space for the DLC.

1 Check Storage Space

  1. From the Home Menu, select System Settings.

  2. Select Data Management.
  3. The available space for the System Memory and microSD card (if used), will be displayed on the top of the screen.

2 Manual Update

  1. Select System Settings.

  2. Select System.
  3. Select System Update.

  4. Allow the update to proceed. The system will reboot when ready.

? After updating, test your game. Is the DLC showing up now?

  1. Open the game.

  2. From the main menu select Downloadable Content.

  3. You'll be sent to the Nintendo Eshop where you can redownload the DLC.

Your console needs to be connected to the internet.

  1. Select the Icon of the game or app you want to update.
  2. Press the + or - buttons.

  4. Select Via the Internet.
