To restart your device via power cycle:

  1. If your device has buttons or a remote control, press the power button to turn it off.

  2. Unplug it from the power outlet and wait for 10 seconds.

  3. Plug it back into the power outlet, then turn it back on from the power button if it has on.

Update Firmware

You can perform the update at any time without having to wait for a notification.

  1. Press the Home button on the remote.
  2. Using the left or right arrow go to Setup. Then using the up or down arrow go to Network Update.

  3. Wait for the system to check for available updates. If a new update is available for download, select OK to install it.

  4. The system will download the update, install it then reboot automatically. Make sure the system is powered on during the whole process.

Resetting the device to factory defaults will erase all saved settings, preferences and user stored data.

  1. Eject any disc from the tray and ensure playback is stopped.
  2. Press the Home button on the remote.
  3. Using the left or right arrow go to Setup. Then using the up or down arrow go to Resetting.

  4. Select Reset to Factory Default Settings and press Enter.

  5. If you wish to erase your personal data as well, then select Initialize Personal Information and press Enter.

  6. Once the system is reset, it will be ready to setup again.
