Make sure your Eero is properly connected to the modem with the Ethernet cable by trying the following:

  • Unplug it and plug it back in firmly or plug it into another available port on the Eero.
  • Alternatively, you can replace the Ethernet cable, if you have a spare.

2 Power Cycle Your Network by Restarting Modem and Eero

  1. Remove the power cable from the back of your modem. The power cable is usually near the bottom, and tends to be a thin black cord. It usually does not have any clips on it.

  6. The eero’s LED will be flashing white while booting up. It takes about a minute to start up and begin broadcasting. You’ll know when the cycle is complete because the eero’s LED will go solid white again.

It can take 3 to 6 minutes for modems and routers to start up fully. Please proceed with the next steps while your devices start, we will check on them, shortly.
