Introduction

The Apple Watch has the ability to monitor your heart rate. This guide will walk you through how to check your heart rate step by step.
Before You Begin:
  • Your Apple Watch must be worn in order to accurately measure heart rate.

1 Checking Your Heart Rate

  1. Press the Digital Crown / Home button on the side of your watch.

  2. Tap the Heart Rate app, it looks like a Heart icon.

  3. Your watch will immediately begin measuring your current heart rate.

  4. Once measuring has completed, your heart rate will be displayed in BPM (beats per minute).

  5. From the Current screen, the digital crown can be used to scroll to the Resting or Walking screens.
    Scroll through screens.
  6. To view all sections of the Heart Rate app, tap Current.
    Tap current header.

  7. All sections of the Heart Rate app will be displayed. Tap any one of them to view more information.
