If you are using a streaming service, like YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, or others, you do not need to have special software on your computer, nor do you need to stream these services from your phone to your computer again. It's best to simply visit the webpage directly on your computer using your browser.

In most cases, just type in the name of the service with .com at the end in your browser, then press enter or return.

Sharing Video Files

Rather than casting your screen, it's best to simply share the video or other media files directly to your computer, and let your computer play these files. We have a guide to sharing these files from your mobile device to your computer available.
