How to Set Up a SkyStream One

Introduction

The SkyStream One streaming media player allows you to stream TV, movies, sports and more through hundreds of apps that either come pre-installed or are available on the app store. This guide aims will help you with first time setup of your device.

Please use the power adapter that came with your SkyStream One

  1. Plug the power supply into the wall outlet.
  2. Connect the power supply into the back of the Android TV Box.

  3. After plugging in your Stream One, you will see a blue led light that indicating your unit is on.

HDMI Type A connector and cable
  1. Acquire an HDMI cable.
  2. Take one end of the cable and plug it into your TV's HDMI port.
  3. Plug the other end of the cable into your device's HDMI out port, or the appropriate adapter.
    1. If you are using an adapter, connect the adapter to your device.
  4. Turn on both the TV and connected device.
  5. Ensure that your TV is set to use HDMI as the input source.

Connect your device to your home network via:

  • Wired connection (Ethernet)
  • Wireless connection (Wi-Fi)
  1. Go to Settings.

  3. Select Wi-Fi.

  4. Click on Wi-Fi device and turn to ON, wait for the available list of networks.

  5. Select your Network and enter the password (if there is one).

  3. Select Screen Position.

  4. You can adjust your screen size from here until it fits your TV perfectly.

  5. When done, press the Back button on the remote to save and exit.

  2. Select Date and Time.

  3. Select Time and adjust.
  4. Select Date and adjust.
  5. Select Set time zone. This will ensure that your box is running the correct time zone.
  1. After connecting to the Internet, adjusting your screen size and setting the correct date and time, exit to the home screen and run the Sky Stream Updater.

  2. Select which version you want to download.
    • SkyStream KODI Updater with Adult Add-Ons
    • SkyStreamTV KODI Updater without Adult Add-Ons - Family Friendly.

  3. Once the download has been completed, the box will open KODI - this will serve as your main streaming application.

    Please make sure to exit KODI properly by clicking on the "POWER" icon in the lower left corner of the KODI home screen. Exiting KODI differently can lead to loss of data.

Ethernet Cable
Ethernet CableAn Ethernet cable can come in many colors and lengths. The end is larger than a phone cable; and has eight small contacts on the bottom, with a clip on the top to make sure it stays locked into the port.
Ethernet Port
Ethernet PortAn Ethernet port will be on the side or back of your device, and sometimes has lights on the left and right, used to show traffic and link conditions. It is larger than a phone jack.
  1. Acquire an Ethernet cable.
  2. Take one end of the cable and plug it into your router or modem Ethernet port.

  3. Plug the other end of the cable into your devices Ethernet port.
