Your Xfinity X1 Remote can only be paired with one TV Box at a time. If you wish to pair it with another box you'll need to repeat the pairing steps. 

  1. Turn your television on.

  2. Make sure it is on the right input for your TV Box.

  3. On your remote, press and hold the Setup button.

  4. The LED at the top of the remote will change from red to green.

  6. A 3-digit code will appear on your television's screen. Using the remote, input the code.

Pairing your remote will allow you to turn off your television, select inputs, and adjust the volume.

If You Have Your Manufacturer Code

  1. Turn your television on.

Pairing your remote will allow you to turn off audio unit or sound bar and adjust the volume.

Pairing your remote to an audio unit such as an AVR or Soundbar will override the connection to your television. You will only be able to adjust the volume of your audio unit, not your television.
