  1. Press the Eject button on the player or the remote control to open the disc tray.

  2. Place the disc into the tray with the label facing up.

  3. Press the Eject button again to close the disc tray.
  4. The content on the disc should start playing automatically.
  5. If the playback doesn't start automatically you have to start the playback manually.

You can play audio from:

  • An inserted disc,
  • A connected USB device,
  • A connected Android device,
  • A networked DLNA compatible device. Please refer to the devices documentation to learn how to connect it to the network.

Playable audio file types:

  • mp3, .wma, .wav, .m4a (DRM free), .flac, .ogg, .aiff

To play media:

  1. On the main screen, go left and right to select the media category, then go down to show available sources for your selection.

  2. Go left and right to select the source of your files then press Enter.
  3. Browse through the content and select what you want to play.

Connect a USB device into the USB port on the front of the home theater unit.

Only Android MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) devices are supported. Android 4.0 or later is recommended.

  1. Connect the Android device to the home theater unit with the USB cable.

  2. On the Android device, swipe down from the top side of the screen then tap on USB for charging.

  3. Select File transfers also known as MTP.

An internet connection is required to stream with these apps. App availability may change over time.

  1. On the main screen, go left and right to select Premium then press Enter.

  3. Browse through the content and select what you want to play.

  2. Press the Function button repeatedly on the remote control until Tuner (FM) displays on the front of the home theater unit.

  3. Use the radio controls to tune to the desired station:

    • Manual Tuning: Press the Tuning + or Tuning - button repeatedly to tune in to a higher or lower frequency.
    • Automatic Tuning: Press and hold the Tuning + or Tuning - button until the auto scanning starts.
    • Preset Tuning: Press the Preset + or Preset - button to select a preset station.

  4. To preset a station press the Enter button on a selected station during the manual or automatic tuning methods, then press the Preset + or Preset - to select the preset number you want and press Enter.

Bluetooth technology allows you to stream content wirelessly between devices without connecting any cables. With your devices connected via Bluetooth to your LG unit, sound will play pack thru the speakers connected to your LG unit, rather than the built-in speakers of your device. Playback can take place normally. The following steps are examples of playback options for your devices.

There are multiple apps that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for the purpose of playing or streaming music and audio on your device.

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
