1 Pair Bluetooth Device

  1. When you press the Bluetooth button on the remote control, Now Pairing is shown on the units display and the pairing mode is enabled.

  2. You will have to complete the pairing process on the other device.The home theater systems name should have the Pioneer VSX-LX102 XXXXXX pattern.
  3. If asked to type in a Password, enter 0000. The Password may also be called a Passcode, PIN Code, PIN Number or Passkey.
  4. You will then be able to play music from the Bluetooth enabled device over the home theater system.
  5. If you want to pair another device, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote control until Now Pairing is shown on the units display, then complete the pairing from the other device.

This unit can be paired with up to 8 devices. The coverage area is 48 feet.

From any Android Device

  1. Open the App Drawer.

  3. Tap Bluetooth. You may need to select Connections first.

  1. Turn on your Bluetooth device, and make it discoverable.
  2. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on. Select the Action Center in the bottom-right corner, then Bluetooth. It should be highlighted.
  3. Open the Action Center, and choose Connect.

    In many cases, you can place your device in pairing mode by having the device off, then pressing and holding the power button to start it up. Usually, after a few moments, it will indicate it is in pairing mode (flashing its indicator light, for example), and you can release the power button.

  2. On the menu bar, click the Apple menu, then System Preferences.

  5. Your computer will search for any Bluetooth devices in range.
  6. Once your device is located, click Pair.

  7. Once the pairing process is complete, your Mac will automatically connect to the device whenever it is in range.
