How to Pair Bluetooth Devices to Panasonic Lumix GH5

Your Panasonic camera has a Bluetooth connectivity feature which allows it to pair with a smartphone and enable some additional features, such as Remote Wakeup, File Auto Transfer, Location Logging and Auto Clock Set. This guide will show you how to pair your Panasonic camera over Bluetooth.
  • In order to register the camera with your mobile device, you need to have them connected over Wi-Fi first.
  • Make sure your Bluetooth devices are within 10 feet of each other to be able to pair them.

  • In order to register the camera with your mobile device, you need to have them connected over Wi-Fi first.
  • Make sure your Bluetooth devices are within 10 feet of each other to be able to pair them.
  1. On the camera screen, tap on Fn.

  2. Then tap on Wi-Fi.

  3. The Wi-Fi access point will be initiated on the camera. Launch the Panasonic Image app on your Android mobile device.

  4. Tap on Wi-Fi on the mobile device.

  5. Look for the same Wi-Fi network that is showing on the camera screen in the network list showing on the mobile device screen and tap on it.

  6. Accept the connection request on the camera by tapping on Yes.

  7. Once the connection is established the camera will show Under remote control and the mobile device will show Connected.

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

  2. Tap the Bluetooth icon to enable it.

  1. Press the Menu/Set button on the camera.

  2. Use the directional buttons ▲/▼/►/◄ to move the selection frame. Press Menu/Set to set the selected item.

  3. Go to the Setup option and scroll through the listings until you get to Bluetooth and select it.

  4. Select Bluetooth again.

  5. And select Set then Pairing.

  6. Choose No when asked to terminate the Wi-Fi connection.

  7. At this point the camera is waiting to be paired with your mobile device.

  8. Switch to your mobile device and launch the Image App.

  9. Then tap on Bluetooth.

  10. At the bottom of the screen you should see the same device name as shown on the camera screen. Tap on it to continue.

  11. Wait for the registration process to complete. Since you've already established the Wi-Fi connection earlier you don't have to do it at this point anymore.

  12. Once the pairing is successful you should get a confirmation message on both devices.

  1. On the camera screen, tap on Fn.

  2. Then tap on Wi-Fi.

  3. The Wi-Fi access point will be initiated on the camera. Switch to the iOS mobile device and and go into Settings.

  4. Then go to Wi-Fi.

  5. Make sure the Wi-Fi feature is enabled then look for the Wi-Fi network that is showing on the camera screen in the list showing on the mobile devices screen and tap on it.

  6. Once connected you will see a checkmark next to the Wi-Fi networks name.

  7. Return to the main screen on the iOS mobile device and launch the Panasonic Image app.

  8. Accept the connection request on the camera by tapping on Yes.

  9. Once the connection is established the camera will show Under remote control and the mobile device will show Connected.

  1. Open Settings.
