1. Introduction

You'll Need:

  • Your Nest account
  • Your Nest x Yale Lock to be already installed and set up within the Nest account
  • A mobile device running one of the following apps:
  • Google Home

  • Google Assistant

2. Link Nest Device

  1. Launch the Google Home app.

  1. On the Add and manage screen, tap Set up device.

  1. Under Works with Google, tap Have something already set up?.

  1. Scroll through the list of smart home device providers and look for Nest. Since the list is rather long you can also tap Search and enter the name to locate it quicker.

  1. Select Nest.

  1. Sign in with your Nest account and allow Google Assistant to control your Nest devices using your voice.

4. Link Nest Device

  1. Tap and hold the Home icon, which is the circle at the bottom of the screen, to launch Google Assistant.

  1. Then tap the Explore icon which looks like a compass.

  1. Tap More (1) in the top right corner and select Settings (2).

  1. Go to the Assistant (1) tab and select Home Control (2).

  1. Tap Add at the bottom right.

7. Install App

  1. Launch the App Store.
