1 Avoid Scratches from the Dock

Be Careful

Lift the console straight out when you undock it. Avoid wiggling the console.

When docking push the console straight in.

Taking care when docking and undocking should prevent your screen from being scratched.

Screen Protectors

Add a screen protector. Nintendo licenses their own protective film.

Felt Around the Front of the Dock

If you're still worried and don't want to spend money on a screen protector you can use a piece of soft cloth to cover the front of the dock. It won't affect your gameplay and will give you the extra cushion you need to avoid scratches.
