2. Volume

The first step is to make sure the volume on your device or speaker wasn't accidentally turned too far down.

  1. On your computer, tablet, smartphone, or other device, make sure the volume isn't too low, and isn't muted.
  2. Look for a speaker symbol to adjust the volume on your device.

4. Charging

Your speaker has an internal battery that needs to be charged before you can use it.

  1. Using the included cable, connect your speaker to a wall charger or desktop computer.
  2. Connect the other end to the charging port on the back of your speaker.

Your speaker can connect using a standard audio cable, or wirelessly using Bluetooth.

6. Disconnect Wired Device

Your speaker will make it a priority to play sound from any wired device attached first. While troubleshooting, it's best to disconnect any wired devices.

  1. Make sure nothing is connected to your speaker's AUX port.

The device needs to be within a reasonable range in order to connect.

  • In general, to pair and use a Bluetooth device (like a speaker, headset or smartwatch), the device needs to be within 10 feet of your computer or other device.
  • Some medium and higher-power devices can be farther, up to about 30 feet, but this tends to be for larger devices that plug in or have very large batteries, such as another computer, media streaming device, or a plug-in speaker system.

Try moving the Bluetooth device closer if you have trouble.

8. Power Cycle

Powering off, then back on your speaker and sending device can often help resolve many Bluetooth issues you may encounter.

  1. Push and hold the Power button on the back of your speaker. You will hear descending tones, letting you know it's turned off.

  1. Using the included cable, connect your speaker to a wall charger or desktop computer.
  2. Connect the other end to the charging port on the back of your speaker.

  1. Wait for the charging light to go out.

72. Wired or Wireless

Your speaker can connect using a standard audio cable, or wirelessly using Bluetooth.

73. Disconnect Wired Device

Your speaker will make it a priority to play sound from any wired device attached first. While troubleshooting, it's best to disconnect any wired devices.

  1. Make sure nothing is connected to your speaker's AUX port.

74. Range Check

The device needs to be within a reasonable range in order to connect.

  • In general, to pair and use a Bluetooth device (like a speaker, headset or smartwatch), the device needs to be within 10 feet of your computer or other device.
  • Some medium and higher-power devices can be farther, up to about 30 feet, but this tends to be for larger devices that plug in or have very large batteries, such as another computer, media streaming device, or a plug-in speaker system.

Try moving the Bluetooth device closer if you have trouble.

75. Power Cycle

Powering off, then back on your speaker and sending device can often help resolve many Bluetooth issues you may encounter.

  1. Set the Power switch on the back of your speaker to the middle Off position.

  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Turn your device back on, and allow it to start up fully.
  4. Turn your speaker back on by moving the switch to On, the right position.

  1. Allow a few moments for your speaker and device to re-connect to each other. Your speaker should make a chime sound when it connects.

  1. Open the app or program you want to play sound from on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Select some media you want to listen to, then select Play.

To continue, we need to know what Operating System your computer is using.

There are 2 main Operating Systems for personal computers currently available, Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.

  1. Switch the switch on the back to On, farthest right.

80. Pair Bluetooth Device (Windows 10)

  1. Click the Action Center icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

  1. Select Bluetooth from the left-hand column and ensure the Bluetooth switch is in the On position to the right. Your Windows 10 device will become discoverable and start searching for devices.

  1. On the menu bar, click the Apple menu (1), then System Preferences (2).

  2. Once your device is located, click Pair.

93. FM Radio

  1. Push the power switch to FM, the far left.

FM Radio is transmitted over-the-air. The radio signal strength is dependent on a large number of factors, including distance from the radio station's transmitting tower, weather conditions, large buildings, and building materials used near you.

There is no way to guarantee the sound quality for any FM radio station, or if there is a strong enough radio signal where you are.
