How to Fix Issues with the Bose Connect App

Introduction
This guide will help you troubleshoot basic issues with the Bose Connect app, used to control your Bose Soundlink Color II speaker.
1 Charge
- Connect the USB cable to a wall charger or computer that is turned on.
- Connect the USB cable to the charging port on your speaker.
- Allow your speaker to charge till the battery light goes green for a full charge.
2 Powercycle
- Use the power button on the top of your speaker to turn it off.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Push the power button again to turn your speaker on.
- Allow it a few moments to start up fully, and attempt to re-pair to your phone or tablet.

- A prompt will appear on-screen. Select Restart.

- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Tap the Bluetooth icon to enable it.

- Open the Bose Connect app.
- Make sure your headset or speaker shows up on the screen.
- Make sure you can access the settings for the speaker, from the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Touch and hold the Bose Connect icon.
- Select Uninstall from the menu that opens.
- When asked to uninstall, select OK.
- Open Play Store.
- Type Bose Connect in the search bar and tap Install.
- Once installed, tap Open to proceed to the setup.
- Open the Bose Connect app.
- Make sure your headset or speaker shows up on the screen.
- Make sure you can access the settings for the speaker, from the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Hold down the lock / power button.
- Slide to power off when prompted.
- Wait until the phone is off.
- Hold down the lock / power button until you see the Apple logo.
- Open Settings.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Ensure that the Bluetooth toggle is in the On position.
- Open the Bose Connect app.
- Make sure your headset or speaker shows up on the screen.
- Make sure you can access the settings for the speaker, from the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Touch and hold the Bose Connect icon.
- Select the X in the corner of the Bose Connect icon.
- Select Delete.
- Open the App Store.
- Type in "Bose Connect" in the search bar.
- Find Bose Connect in the search results and tap on GET.
- Tap on Install to start download.
- Open the Bose Connect app.
- Make sure your headset or speaker shows up on the screen.
- Make sure you can access the settings for the speaker, from the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
