Introduction

The C by GE app is used to regularly update the firmware of your C by GE Smart Bridge. If your smart bridge fails to update, this may mean that there was a problem with your internet connection at the time, or there may actually be an issue with the smart bridge itself. Because the smart bridge is a simple device, there are not many troubleshooting steps involved when an update fails.
This guide will take you through the process of restarting your smart bridge. If the update still fails to apply, the smart bridge must be fully reset. Once reset, the C by GE app can be used to attempt to update the smart bridge again.
