Check the front of your television set to see if the stand by light is on. If it's on, the set is receiving power from the outlet.

Check the front of your television set to see if the stand by light is on. If it's on, the set is receiving power from the outlet.

Power on the TV using the power button instead of the remote.

  1. Open the back panel of your remote.
  2. Replace the batteries.
  3. Make sure the new batteries are aligned correctly.
  4. Place the back panel back on.

Let's make sure your cable and outlet work.

First, make sure all cabling is firmly inserted.

If that didn't work let's try another outlet.

If your tv still won't turn on and you're able to remove the power cord, try another one.
