  1. Open System Settings on the HOME Menu.

  2. Select System.

  3. Select Formatting Options.

  4. Select Restore Factory Settings.

  1. Hold down the Power Button for at least 12 seconds until the Switch Console turns off.

  2. Once the Switch has been completely powered off, press and hold both the Volume Down and Volume Up buttons.

  4. Your Switch should enter Recovery Mode.

  2. If you want to keep save data, screenshots, and user information, choose to Factory Reset Without Deleting Save Data.
