This guide will walk you through factory resetting your Nikon D3400 Digital Camera.

Reset Shooting

This resets settings dealing with image quality, size, lighting adjustments, etc.

  1. Push the Menu button.

  2. Select the Shooting Menu.

  3. Select Reset shooting menu.

Reset All Settings

This resets all your shooting options (image quality, size, lighting adjustments, etc.), as well as all your setup settings (how images are stored and how information is displayed on the camera screen).

  1. Push the Menu button.

  2. Select Setup.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom, and select Reset All Settings.

This will reset settings related to how images are stored and how information is displayed on the camera screen.
