How to Factory Reset a D-Link COVR Mesh WiFi System

Introduction
Before You Begin:
- Make sure your D-Link COVR has been powered on for at least 45 seconds.
- Make sure you have a paperclip or a different small object to press the reset button.
Resetting your router will return any personalized home network settings back to factory defaults.

1 Factory Reset
This guide uses the COVR-C1203 as an example. The location of the reset hole for other devices may vary a bit, but will still be in the same general location.
- Locate your device and flip it over.
- One the bottom of your device there will be a small hole.
- Hold down the paperclip for up to 10 seconds.
- The LED on the front of the device will turn red and the device will then begin to reboot.
If you hold down the paperclip for more than 10 seconds, it may cause the device to go into recovery mode (an orange light instead of red). If this happens, unplug the device from power for 30 seconds.
