1 Verify Bulb has Been Completed

In order to use your FluxSmart Wi-Fi device with your home assistant, you need to first have your SmartFlux Wi-Fi device setup and working properly with the Flux WiFi Pro app.

There are a variety of Personal Assistants available, and while similar, the instructions for each are slightly different.

Google Home
Google HomeGoogle Home is available on all Android smartphones, an app on iPhone, as well as through Google's range of home speakers, and some smart TVs and streaming boxes.
Amazon Alexa
Amazon AlexaAmazon Alexa is offered through Amazon's Alexa app on your smartphone, as well as through their range of home speakers, and some of Amazon's media streaming boxes.
Apple HomeKit
Apple HomeKitApple HomeKit is offered through the latest version of iOS on iPhones, iPads, and iPods, as well as can be accessed using the Home app on macOS Mojave, Apple's home speaker, and the Apple TV system.

To continue, we need to know what Operating System your smartphone or tablet has.

There are 2 main Operating Systems for smartphones currently available, Android and iOS.

Android Smartphone
Android smartphones are produced by multiple companies, such as Samsung, LG, Motorola, Sony, Nokia, Lenovo, and HTC. Example Android home screen.
iOS Smartphone
Apple is the only company that makes iOS smartphones. Example iOS home screen.
  1. Open the Flux WiFi Pro app.

  2. Select Menu.

  3. Select Device Manager.

  4. Select a Smart Light.

  5. Select Remote Settings.

  6. Ensure Remote Status is enabled.

  7. Your FluxSmart account should automatically be linked.
  1. Open Google Home.

  2. Select Accounts at the bottom.

  3. Select Set up or add.

  4. Select Set up device.

  5. Select Works with Google.

  6. Scroll through the list, and select Magic Home WiFi.

    While 'Magic Home WiFi' isn't exclusive to FluxSmart bulbs, it is the platform that Google Home uses to integrate with and control your FluxSmart bulb(s).

  7. Enter the Email address and Password associated with your Flux Cloud account, then select Authorize.

  8. After a few moments, Google will be able to control your FluxSmart Wi-Fi smart light. This includes from your smartphone and your various Google Home speakers.

  3. Select Device Settings.

  4. Select a Smart Light.

  6. Ensure Remote Status is enabled.

  7. Select Link to link your Flux cloud account.

  1. Open the Alexa app on your mobile device.

  2. Select the Menu in the top-right corner.

  3. Tap on Skills & Games.

  4. Tap the search icon from the top.

  5. Search for Flux WiFi, then select it from the list.

  6. Select Enable to Use.

  7. Enter the Email address and Password associated with your Flux Cloud account.

  8. Tap Authorize.

  9. Tap X in the top left corner.

  10. Tap Discover Devices.

  11. Your devices will then be linked and displayed on the Amazon Alexa home page.

Currently, Apple does not support FluxSmart devices on the HomeKit platform.
