Some websites use special, custom software to display the audio or video content they have. These are called plug-ins.

Some plug-ins are coded in such a way they either do not allow casting on purpose (for copyright or security reasons, for example), as a by-product of an older plug-in technology, or because of how the plug-in works technologically and is simply not compatible.

If you want to be able to cast the page you are using, contact the website developer for the page you are using, and ask them to make it compatible with Chromecast.
