In-app Support

Highly advantageous in the home automation domain, in-app support refers to the ability for a user to get assistance with a smart home issue without ever leaving the app he uses to run household devices. In advanced implementations, a HELP button is embedded right into the app and is used to launch a self-support or live agent support session that takes advantage of all the information to which the app has access.
