Trouble Finding Yahoo! Mail
One of the best things about Yahoo! Mail is that you can get to it from any computer. You can be on your computer, your office computer, a computer at the library, a friend's computer, it doesn't matter; as long as you have internet access, you can read Yahoo email or send it! Whether it's AT&T Yahoo Mail, SBC Yahoo email, Verizon Yahoo mail, Rogers Yahoo email, Yahoo Mail Europe, Yahoo Mail Australia, or any other variant, if it's all still the basic free yahoo mail!
Here's the problem: you've forgotten how to get to it. Why, this is easy! In fact, there are two ways: 1) You can log in through your Yahoo home page, or 2) You can go to it directly by remembering a simple web address.
To get to your mail through your Yahoo!, AT&T Yahoo!, or SBC Yahoo! Email, just go to your Yahoo! Home page and click “mail.”
But what if you can't find it? Or you can't remember how to get to that page? Why there's always the simple, direct way: just remember one simple thing:
- mail.yahoo.com
That's it—mail dot yahoo.com – and if you go to that page, bingo, you'll be able to log in to your email no problem!

Trouble with Yahoo! Mail Sign In
You're trying to log in to Yahoo! Mail and you have forgotten your Yahoo email login—your password, or even your user ID. What do you do? Here is the good-news, bad-news situation: if you did your Yahoo email sign up correctly, you have two easy options: on your Yahoo! Mail page, just click “I can't access my account.” This will bring you to a simple page that gives you options for resetting your password or for remembering your user name. That's the good news.
Here's the bad news: when you set up your Yahoo email sign in, you were asked to set up secret questions, password hints, and an alternative email address to use, and other information. What were these for? For situations where you forget your password! So you'll be asked these secret questions and alternate email address information, and so long as you have the correct answers Yahoo! Mail will let you reset your password.
What if you haven't set these up yet? Then you really need to do so as quickly as possible. They're found in your Account Settings in Yahoo! If you haven't done so, you should go set these immediately, because if you haven't, getting your password reset again is nearly impossible!
Trouble with bogus Yahoo Mail emails
All of a sudden your email box is full of messages, and they say that a message you tried to send someone failed—but you didn't send them any such message! You may have been hit by a viruses that has hacked your password on your Yahoo! account. There are several ways to protect against this, including:
- Making sure to use a complex password that's difficult to guess, mixing letters and numbers and symbols
- Making sure to change your Yahoo password regularly
- Making sure you have excellent anti-virus and anti-spyware software installed on your system and up-to-date
Making sure to change your Yahoo password regularly is the most commonly forgotten, but if you regularly change your Yahoo! Mail password, you make it much harder for anyone or anything to get at your mail. And here's the funny bit: sometimes, your password will have been hacked by someone or something not even on your computer that is sending out emails on your behalf!
