Performance issues with the system

The customer reported the system had performance issues. The Solutions Engineer investigated and found out that the system did not have any virus but the remnants of previously installed antivirus was the problem. The Solutions Engineer cleaned up the remnants of the previously installed Symantec anti-Virus software to improve the performance of the system

My AVG almost completely broke down yesterday after limping along for months. It took 20 clicks to get explorer to boot up and email constantly getting hung up. The solutions engineer diagnoses problem partly as remnants of symantec, and he re-configured everything that needed to be done ,pleasantly and methodically. I haven't used the computer much since the repair but so far so good.
