Customer Tech Support Issues

Customer complained that her computer was getting constant popups, mainly from porn sites. The Solutions Engineer detected an infection caused by a fake antivirus application. The Solutions Engineer identified, disabled and removed multiple infected files and registry keys.

My daughter mentioned to me that she couldn't get on the internet. I didn't get to check right away, but when I did I saw that it was a mess. There were constant popups, mostly for porn sites. I called my cable company, who referred me to support.com. The person that I worked with was very patient, despite my frustration. The service was very convenient.
