Customer Tech Support Issues

Customer's computer infected with both the PAV.exe (PAV / Personal Antivirus) virus and a UAC rootkit.  Identified, disabled and removed infected files and folders.

I picked up a virus from facebook from some software called PAV, Personal Anti Virus spyware that lead me to believe I had over 1180 + affected files, turned off my windows firewall and other security features and blocked my internet access...can it get much worse than that! Every time I did an AVG scan it said I was not infected but I kept getting these alerts from the resident shield and the number of files infected kept growing ...the more I tried to remove them the worse it got.
