Customer Tech Support Issues

The customer reported an antivirus program, Windows Police Pro that blocked access to legitimate antivirus programs. The Solutions Engineer detected a rogue security application, Windows Police Pro to be the problem. The Solutions Engineer removed the rogue security application by running anti spyware tools.

Linked to your service through AVG... had a supposed anti-virus program called "Windows Police Pro" that downloaded into my computer without permission, that blocked access to legitimate anti-virus programs and kept routine functions from running... even simple programs like Solitaire would not work... on-line support was excellent, stayed on task for 90 minutes and solved the problem, explaining along the way to help me understand what they were doing and why.
