Customer Tech Support Issues

Customer with a Windows XP SP3 computer is infected with Rogue.XPAntiVirus and Trojan.Downloader causing pop-ups and slowing down the computer.  Identified, disabled and removed virus infections.

I had no virus protection on my laptop. I opened a Facebook message and a trojan worm spread thru-out my computer. A pop-up exposed the name "support.com" associate with the Company AVG and I immediately recognized the AVG name and the Trust I have developed in the name. I called the number and spoke with Mark in Canada and he connected me with Rich in San Antonio. Forty Nine minutes later I was back to work on my computer. I feel like I have just dealt with "Houdini"!!!
