Quickbooks installer is constantly opening

Customer with a Windows XP computer reporting that Quickbooks is not working correctly. Customer confirmed that all Quickbooks data is backed up. Intuit's recommended procedure for fixing this problem (repairing the installation) didn't work. Identified and manually re-registered DLLs that Quickbooks relies on and resolved the problem.
