Problem accessing network HP 5600 printer

Customer has a Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 computer that is running a printer (HP 5600 printer) that is shared out. That computer does not appear in network neighborhood but a second computer does. Windows Media Player sharing appears to be working. Auditing the services on the computer with the shared printer identified the HP PML service had been set to manual it should be automatic (the hp filter driver). Printed a test page from the computer with the printer attached and then from the second computer across the network.
