Sound issue preventing transcribing work

Confirmed latest drivers present and installed correctly. Basic Windows sounds working. Internet and Firefox sound not functioning. Transcription software sound not working. Restored to an earlier restore point to resolve sound issue. Missing software error also reported on startup - identified and removed missing programs from startup sequence.
