Browser redirecting pages due to virus infection

Customer reporting Internet Explorer browser page redirects due to a virus infection.  iehelper.dll linked to explorer.exe.  Removing c:\windows\sysguard.exe, cacls both sysguard.exe and iehelper.dll.  No rootkits identified, but host file entries identified and removed: 94.232.248.66 browser-security.microsoft.com 94.232.248.66 and antivguardian.com 94.232.248.66.  Removed corrupt references to secondary antivirus software in the registry.
