iTune and iPod Support
Between iPhones, iPads, iPod Touch it is almost hard to find someone who doesn’t have something to do with Apple’s popular line of products any more. Some people may use them to listen to music while out on a run, while others may watch movies while on that long bus ride, and for some it is almost a way of life. Now you finally have one and you are trying to figure out how to transfer your files to the iPod so you too can join the ranks of people tapping their foot to the beat.
Well, you’ve come to the right place because we’ve got your answer right here. For the most part, transferring your music, picture, and video files to your iPod is as simple as installing iTunes (which can be gotten directly from http://www.itunes.com) and plugging in your iPod.If you already have MP3 files on your computer, iTunes can generally find it when you first install, but if not, no biggie because that’s easy too. All you have to do in iTunes is go to File, Add Folder to Library, and select your main music folder. What if your music is still all on CDs? Well that isn’t a problem either. Open iTunes, pop a CD into your computers CD drive, and let iTunes import it all. In most cases it will even be able to put in all the artist names and track titles as well, leaving you to sit back and watch.
Once all your music is safely in iTunes, you simply plug your iPod into your computer with the provided cable and iTunes automatically picks up that there is a new device available. You can rename your iPod, look at how much free space it has, or see how much space is dedicated to music vs. movies or pictures. From here you have just one simple step to go. Find the music that you want and drag it over to the picture of your iPod on the left and there you have it.
