Secure Websites Are Not Accessible
The most common culprit for not allowing you to view secure websites is your firewall.
Try disabling your firewall (usually by right-clicking it in the System Tray, and selecting "Disable", "Shutdown", etc.
Now try viewing a secure website.
STILL NOT WORKING?
- clean your Temporary Internet Files.
- Reset your Browser settings to the default settings.
- clean your cookies.
- Now try viewing a secure website.
STILL NOT WORKING?
- Your Firewall is probably still blocking you.
- Uninstall your firewall, reboot.
- You should now be able to view secure websites.
- Either reinstall your firewall, try a different firewall, or better yet, purchase a router that has firewall capabilites.
STILL NOT WORKING?
If uninstalling your firewall hasn't fixed your problem, then its possible you have an infection or other deeper problems.
