- Slowdown after Windows Logon: If the slowdown occurs after you log into Windows, there may be too many programs and services scheduled to run at Windows startup. When you install new applications on your computer, most of them consider themselves important and register as startup items. Over time, the list of startup items grows and increases the Windows startup time!
