Allen leads the software and branded direct-to-consumer businesses. Allen joined Support.com in December of 2009 with Support.com’s acquisition of Sammsoft. Prior to the acquisition, Allen was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Sammsoft’s prior parent corporation, joining them in April 2006. Prior to Sammsoft, Allen was with Microsoft for almost 13 years. His last role at Microsoft was Director of Channel Strategy. Other roles at Microsoft included product management, program management, PR, business analysis, and software engineering. Allen also served in the United States Marine Corps.
